OBJECTIVES
Participants will be able to:1) Write a business plan, evaluate prospecting methods and the importance of good follow up, identify ways to manage time and money, and create a database.
2) Identify the steps involved in working with a buyer.3) Explain to a buyer important issues including RECAD, fair housing, antitrust, inspections, disclosures, and financing.
4) Apply good communication skills in the practice of real estate.5) Educate the buyer during the initial meeting with the buyer. 6) Show property in a professional and courteous manner. 7) Write a clear, unambiguous purchase agreement and create an estimated closing cost sheet for a buyer and seller.
8) Identify the steps involved in working with a seller.9) Explain to a seller important issues including RECAD, fair housing, antitrust, and laws regarding property disclosures.
10) Prepare a CMA, a listing presentation and a marketing plan.11) Apply good negotiating skills when presenting offers to a client and demonstrate the proper way to present offers and counteroffers.
12) Identify the steps involved in the completion/closing of a contract.13) Recognize areas of liabilities and how to avoid them. 14) Identify how license law applies to the daily practice of real estate. |

The
Post License Course (2005) has been designed to be taught in 8 modules
for a total of 30 hours. Each module link provides specific
information on GOALS, OBJECTIVES and a DETAILED OUTLINE of the subject
matter to be taught.

| Central Alabama Real Estate Academy was issued a Private School License by the State of Alabama Post Secondary Education license #1220-1 on May 3, 2004, and granted official approval as a real estate school by the Alabama Real Estate Commission, school code #76477 on May 11, 2004. The first course of instruction, 60 - Hour Pre-License Course, began the first part of June 2004 with continuing education courses being taught throughout the summer of 2004. |
