Education opens doors, especially in career opportunities.  Originally assigned to Air University, Air Command & Staff College as an Army instructor, teaching was my first occupation in the area.  Since then I have been involved in the local colleges, universities with either "tuition" support or by assisting teaching professionals (professors, deans, administrative personal) and students from the majority of the institutions listed below in buying and selling houses.  I have a high regard for the positive impact their presence brings to our community.

Private School

"Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law is provisionally approved by the American Bar Association (ABA).  The School of Law received provisional approval on June 11, 2006.  Students at the School of Law and those who graduate while the school is provisionally approved are entitled to the same recognition given to students and graduates of fully approved law schools and provisional approval permits them to take the bar examination and practice in every state.

The ABA gives a provisionally approved law school two to five years to bring its legal education program into full compliance with the Standards.  A new law school must be provisionally approved before it can be reviewed for full approval.  The School of Law is determined to devote all necessary resources to not only meet the standards for full approval but to exceed those standards.

Questions regarding provisional approval may be directed to the Consultant to the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar of the American Bar Association, 321 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60610 (312-988-6738)."

The lawyers I have known who have graduated from Jones have all been great attorneys with out exception.  Additionally their pre bar course has received high accolades from those who I have known who took the course and passed the Alabama State Bar Exam.
Huntingdon College

Private School  "To this day the College is closely identified with Methodism, and serves with distinction as one of the major institutions of the United Methodist Church." "Since its founding in 1854, thousands of young men and women have come in search of wisdom, mingling their lives with some of the great lecturers and presenters of our time, among them Carl Sandburg, Dean Rusk, James Dickey, Winton Blount, Henry Kissinger, Beverly Sills, Jane Goodall."
Glenda attended one summer course on campus and we both agree that Huntingdon is one of the prettiest campuses we have ever seen.  Located in the "heart" of Montgomery the school awards a number of undergraduate degrees.  Huntingdon has recently advertised a one year degree completion program.
