 ....raised as part of a military family, Jon attended schools in Italy, Germany, Virginia and Kansas before attending Prattville middle school. Jon later graduated from Prattville High School and was honored in ‘96 with the opportunity to serve in the United States Coast Guard. During his tour in Texas Jon married his high school sweetheart; Crystal Stephens who is currently an assistant in the Prattville’s District Attorney's office. In 2003 Jon and Crystal became the proud parents of their first son (and first grandson), Jonathan Christian VanErmen Jr. In April 2005, twin boys, Alex James and Bret Walker were added to the growing family followed by their daughter Briana (Anna) who was born June 2008. |

In 2005, after
five years of managing stores
in Alexander City and Montgomery for Rent-A-Center, Jon decided to join
the real estate profession and became part of the RealtyVan.com
Team. Jon's has just completed his Broker License which is currently
placed with the Alabama Real Estate Commission on inactive status.
Jon and Crystal enjoy Home remodeling, occasionally flipping investment properties, and spending time with their three sons and daughter. Jon is a graduate of Central Alabama Real Estate Academy after having taken the "on-line" course of instruction. He became the School Administrator and assisted in the early growth of the school especially the on-line course of studies which he administered Jon is currently enrolled in Troy University. |
